I went here for a back injury. Doing the laser therapy and a little PT. I felt better right away, and when I stuck to the home exercise program, my back pain got much better. Been working crazy hours lately though so I’ll probably go back for another screen, got to keep moving!

I recently went here after surgery for distal bicep tendon tear.  I worked with Emily, Heather, and Dan.  I thank them for their help and guidance at the start of my recovery.  I went to Lehigh Valley location because that’s where the laser therapy (red light) instrument is.  I did 13 sessions (performed by Mike) and it helped immensely!  I started the 5th day I was out of my cast and felt improvement after every session.  I was able to get back to work within 6 weeks.  I highly recommend the laser therapy treatment!  I also want to thank Dr Nick Horowski for introducing laser therapy to me 2 years ago.  I also want to thank the owner Travis Robbins for keeping the laser therapy at an affordable price.  It will save you a lot of pain and you won’t find a better price anywhere else

Laser Therapy in Lehigh Valley

Laser Therapy is also known as photobiomodulation. It entails the use of specific wavelengths of light to generate a photochemical response to help repair damaged or dysfunctional tissue.

How Does Laser Therapy Work?

The Laser works by creating an increase in blood supply, bringing in oxygen to the cells. It stimulates the lymphatic system, pulling swelling and inflammation from the area. The body’s basic unit of energy, ATP (Adenosine triphosphate), production is stimulated in the cells helping them have the energy to function normally. The pain reflex is broken, offering immediate relief of pain.

Laser therapy can alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate recovery from a wide range of acute and chronic clinical conditions. A significant reduction in swelling has been noted as well and tissues are better able to move fluids out through lymphatic drainage pathways.

Cleared by the FDA in 2003, Class IV LASER therapy has become the standard of care for many musculoskeletal injuries. Class IV LASERs can penetrate over 4 inches into the deep musculoskeletal tissue. The number of treatments required depends on the nature of the problem and the length of time the patient has been affected by it. Some conditions may be resolved with as few as one treatment. However, chronic and/or deep-seated conditions may take as many as 10 treatments.

Laser therapy technology has been recently endorsed by professional organizations such as the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). There are no known side effects from Laser therapy and the results are long-lasting.
