Physical Therapist Assistant

Jay has been a traveling nomad adventurer and a nationally-ranked professional bicycle racer for most of his life. Throughout that time he honed his skills through coaching other athletes to National, regional and state championships across several disciplines. Jay comes from a family of artists, engineers and educators, and his pursuits have revolved around travel and outdoor sports involving dynamic balance on two wheels , two skis, dirt, snow and surf in both sport and career as a racer, writer, custom bicycle company owner and designer and ambassador. A student of body and sport dynamics his whole life, Jay draws upon his experience on the race course as well as on the PT table while healing from various injuries to compassionately treat and educate his patients. Jay incorporates dynamic manual therapy techniques and a broad variety of progressive exercises in his hands-on approach to progressing his patients through to full functionality, return to sport or work, and beyond. Their successes are the rewards he seeks.
